i dont understand how having a garden in a building makes it a sustainable building….?

you can’ sustain all your plants because during winter t they will al die

Like insulation wise, window insulation that kind of thing. Thanks! I’m really stumped.

Also, what do I actually build the house out of?

My suggestion to you would be to look in the yellow pages for an energy efficient guys and give them a call they can be VERY helpful and they are precsise and you won’t lose out on your project

Yes!

I recycle.
I hang dry the clothes if it’s a nice day, instead of the dryer.
If it’s only a few miles, I walk.
I turn the computer all the way off when I’m done.
I don’t use paper cups anymore.
I shut the water off when I’m brushing my teeth.

In a passive solar house, the sun heats water stored in barrels to a temperature of 41.8 °C. The stored energy is then used to heat the house on cloudy days. Suppose that 2.81 x 108 J of heat are needed to maintain the inside of the house at 20.8 °C. How many barrels (1 barrel = 0.16 m3) of water are needed?

Learn your lesson, it should be easier after, trust me !

What i would like to know is the feasibility of a two storeyed green house, and if possible give suitable recommendations for the typical materials also.

green house gases are a phenomenon of global warming
its all of the fossil fuels
that makes the environment into a burial ground

Yes………

The project is related to sustainable design and education

The project is unique in all aspects

We are two friends and we have a model called Adda Corrugated Method.
This method provide us to make an objects(furniture, stand, toys…etc) without to cut trees. Using material in this project are recycling. We want to teach this method.

Your best bet is to submit detailed proposals to foundations that support environmental activities. Good luck!

For a class project me and my partner have to make a solar powered house. The lights have to work in the house. How do i get the lights to be powered by the solar panels? what do i need to get?

Best answer gets the points!

Thank You

it would be to impractical to use solar cells for your project, however most garden centers sell sidewalk lights that uses a solar cell to charge a battery and the lights come on when it gets dark. with a little ingenuity you could make it work, also theres the option of having mirror walls throughout the model and somehow aim direct sunlight into it.good luck.

I just would like to know your view on this.

Not under this administration. The EPA is having a tough time getting projects approved that would improve air quality, water quality, and reduce pesticide and herbicide runoff in thousands of communities. The reason is that the current administration is slowing down the approval and/or the implementation of such projects, since they would curtail the business activities of their friends.

thx
